About this collection

Euflorian trees are synthetic organisms from the Eufloria series of games, based on the concept of the "Dyson tree" originated by the physicist Freeman Dyson. In the game universe, these organisms have become separated from their original purpose and have been left to mutate and spread across the galaxy.

Each image depicts a unique Euflorian tree growing in one of the many alien environments they have populated. The images are inspired by British sci-fi artists of the 1970s such as Chris Foss and Peter Elson, combined with elements of geometric art and a retro video game aesthetic.
